The Colombian Consul General visited the GBI·PITO Nice Tableware Delicious Food Creative Cultural Experience Center to deepen the ceramic culture and trade cooperation between China and Colombia.

On August 26, 2024, the Colombian Consul General in Guangzhou and his delegation visited the GBI·PITO Nice Tableware Delicious Food Creative Cultural Experience Center. This visit marks an important step for China and Colombia in cultural exchanges and trade cooperation. Accompanied by Mr. Xu Hongsheng, Chairman of Guangdong PITO, Consul General Makanaky visited PITO’s workshop and exhibition hall in depth, experienced the production process of blue and white ceramic prints and hand-pulled embryo technology, also felt the profound heritage of traditional Chinese ceramic culture.

During the visit, Colombian Consul General Makanaky expressed great interest in the ceramic works displayed by PITO, especially after experiencing blue and white ceramic printing, and highly appreciated its exquisite craftsmanship and unique artistic value. The Consul General also tried hand-pulled embryo production himself, and under the guidance of the designer, he experienced the unique charm of traditional Chinese ceramic handicrafts.
